Hello! I'm Zahed, a software engineer based in Kuwait.
I enjoy creating things that live on the internet, whether that be websites, applications, or anything in between. My goal is to always build products that provide pixel-perfect, performant experiences.
I started as a Software Engineer at One Global where I worked on a wide variety of interesting and meaningful projects on a daily basis.
Currently working on Og Stack, buiding a platform for service providers to enroll and market their services for clients to subscribe and use in a few clicks.

Where I've Worked
Senior Software Engineer @ One Global
December 2020 - Present
- Migrated legacy systems built on conventional architecture to cloud using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Managed Docker orchestration and Docker containerization using Kubernetes.
- Used Kubernetes to deploy, scale, load balance and manage Docker containers with multiple name spaced versions.
- Used Gitlab pipelines to drive all micro services builds out to the Docker registry and then deployed to Kubernetes.
- Automated maintenance and monitoring processes to reduce the operation costs.
- Incorporated Identity Access Management and Application Security Management Solutions in business operations which improved security.
Senior Software Developer @ Khayal Consultants
June 2019 - November 2020
- Developed web applications for enterprise clients like Central Bank of Kuwait, Gulf Bank and Kuwait Airport among others.
- Developed cloud optimized solutions using Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Worked with CMS like SDL Tridion, Kentico and Orchard Core to develop feature rich web applications.

Senior Software Engineer @ One Global
July 2018 - June 2019
- Developed and shipped Masterpass (digital wallet by MasterCard) as a payment option in Og Money mobile application
- Responsible for the development of PCI Certified solution in Kuwait and Bahrain to securely store customer card information on file.
- Communicate with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, designers and clients on a daily basis
- Proposed and implemented scalable solutions to issues identified with in-house services and applications
- Interfaced with user experience designers and other developers to ensure thoughtful and coherent user experiences across One Global applications
Software Engineer @ Isys Global Trading
June 2015 - July 2018
- Developed the backend functionality of KFH Wallet using MasterCard Digital Enablement Service (MDES), allowing its users to turn regular payment cards into digital tokens and perform contactless payments.
- Integrated with several payment service providers such as MasterCard MPGS, KNET, SEPAExpress, Mobile Money in Uganda among others
- Architected and implemented in-house Wallet for Og Money mobile apps
- Engineered and maintained major features of One Global in-house web apps using ASP.net, CSharp, VB.net, JavaScript and CSS
